Nov 19, 2025Calm your nervous system, clear your mind and feel more grounded with breathwork. Breathwork is my go-to practice when I want to calm my nervous system, clear my mind of thought and to feel more grounded in my body.
The effects and benefits of breathwork are almost immediate, it's a powerful tool to use for feeling good in body and mind.
Breathwork doesn't need to be complicated, you can do a short simple practice and experience wonderful benefits such as
- A calmer, clearer mind
- Feeling more peaceful and grounded
- Less worry and anxiety
- Relief from feelings of stress
- Lowered cortisol levels
- Balanced hormones (due to less stress)
- Better digestion
- Better focus
2-4 minutes of breathwork is enough to experience benefits in body and mind, a longer practice will provide more benefits.
Practicing regularly will allow you to accumulate benefits in the body and mind as your nervous system will be getting a regular message of calm and safety, which can help to create a calmer nervous system.
